Soar Hawaii Foundation
Silent, engineless flight over the North Shore, and a nonprofit flight school building Hawaii's next generation of aviators.
A 501(c)(3) soaring flight school and STEM program flying from Kawaihāpai (Dillingham) on Oʻahu's North Shore, a gliderport with 330+ soarable days a year and a 9,000-foot runway. Sailplane gliders ride the ridge lift and sea breeze in near silence: no engine, just wind, altitude, and the whole coastline below. Beyond intro flights, Soar Hawaii runs youth programs, STEM education, and a professional pilot pathway.
“Soaring rewards craft over horsepower. Soar Hawaii is rebuilding aviation culture on the island the right way, as a school, not a thrill ride, with free first flights for kids and 100% of every dollar reinvested into the programs.”
